Blind Rope Records was foundet in 2020 by music enthusiast and Schallter Record Store Co-Owner Dietmar Hoscher. Starting as a sub division of monkey, Blind Rope Records releases had been published from 2021 to 2024 in partnership with monkey.moods Verlags GmbH.

Since 2025 Blind Rope Records operates as a separate independent Label.
