The EP "Never & Ever" is a small foretaste of Louie Austen's next album, which will be released in November 2012. Louie Austen is a natural born entertainer / electrotainer, who "could brag about having the most contrasting musical career of all - he has a voice and lounge panache that could give even Sinatra a run for his limo." (Clash)
Staying true to his unique style, he mixes jazz and dance beats, smart style and underground, with this EP taking another step towards club culture. Besides two tracks of his upcoming album, it also contains two excellent remixes. "Never & Ever" has been remixed by Robosonic, one of Berlins best electronic groups, being recently Number 1 on Resident Advisor's "Top Charted Tracks" with their hit record "Worst Love". The other remix of "Tweedy Tweedy" is from Joyce Muniz & Markus Dohelsky, who also contributed to the success of this EP as composers and producers.

Markus Dohelsky aka Shanti Roots is since the beginning of the 90s a main player of the Viennese electronic music scene. His first album "Subcodex" was released 1997 (EMI) and combined dub downtempo & Drum n Bass in a smooth way. In 2002, Shanti Roots changed to the Vienna Scientists record label, where the internationally successful 12" "Afrique", a compact floor rocker, was released. Since then, several remixes for labels like Sunshine Rec, Jubelee, Timewarp Music and downtempo, groove & funky tracks for various compilations (Cocoone Rec/Silk, Ecco Chamber Rec/Black Coffee, Vienna Scientists) have been released.
A few years ago Shanti Roots changed his style and is now coming up with percussive techhouse, pumping dancefloor orientated bass lines and a touch of driving minimal beats. DJ friendly cut, fit for the primetime and strikingly sophisticated. So are his livesets & DJ sets - many gigs in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, Ibiza and even in China confirmed that.
